Teddy really started walking today. He’s been walking for about a month (or even more!) but today, he started stumbling all around without any props. He was just the cutest: his big smile, he swagger, his falls, his giggles!

It is delightful to see your children so happy!

At one point this afternoon, I propped my feet up on the couch while Teddy teetered in circles around me.

Then, our little baby inside me started really going too! I mean — summersaults, jabs and kicks from within my belly!! It was wonderful; it’s the most active he has ever been.

I sat there with both of my boys moving and a-grooving. It just felt as if our little baby boy knew his older brother was doing something marvelous so he needed to join in on the fun.

It’s a glimpse into how I hope things may be one day: Brothers spurring each other on for greatness.

I want to remember that moment. When both boys were full of life, energy and joy. When both boys moved in congruence with one another. When both boys acted for the first time as brothers.

Oh, to be present. Ever present. And recognize the joy in it all!
